What's New

1/20/04: I hope all your holidays were fun and safe!  Our's were.  Now we are just trying to stay warm.  It was -2 F here last night!  Hang in there!

10/30/03: I cannot believe the month is almost over.  The year of the Rosary comes to an end.  And the holidays begin.  Advent, Christmas, New Years, Epiphany.  Wow.

We have a new chaplet.  The Blessed Sacrament chaplet.  This such a beautiful devotion.  It is for whenever you cannot take Holy Communion.  It is perfect for converts going through RCIA classes, waiting for their First Communion.  While everyone else is going up for communion, you can say this chaplet, spiritually receiving Jesus in your heart.  It can become a wonderful part of your conversion process.  Have a beautiful chaplet that will become an heirloom to remember that special time by.  Or it is a perfect gift for shut-ins who cannot make it to Mass as often as they like.  Or for yourself, if you would like to be a daily communicant but just can't make the time.  Check it out.  They are on Chaplets Page 4. Or if you cannot afford one, I am giving them away free. That is how strongly I believe in this chaplet.  See here for details.  If you wish to help me out with this mission, I could use all the help I can.  Just a dollar makes 3 chaplets.  There are donation links on the page from the above link or there is a donation link on this page as well.

10/23/03: The leaves are so beautiful around here.  It is hard to belive it is almost winter!

What a month!  How wonderful, all these ceremonies.  We now have Blessed Mother Theresa of Calcutta.  And the Pope has celebrated 25 years as pontiff, which few other popes have done.

My husband is fine from having his appendix out.  And even better, he has decided to wear a brown scapular!  This came on the last day of a nine-day novena to St. Joseph.  Our prayers really are heard!

We have a wonderful special this month, but not for much longer, don't miss it!

Have a wonderful fall!  Enjoy it while you can!

10/9/03: Well, life keeps hitting hard around here. My husband had to have his appendix out. But he is doing well. Thank you to everyone for their prayers.

Some better news. He has decided to start RCIA classes. YEAH! I have been praying so hard. Thank you, St. Joseph!

I have redone many of the chaplets on the site. I hope you like them. I was not happy with what I had before. I feel these now are up to my standards. And as always, they come with a lifetime guarantee. And they are beautiful!

October is the month of the Rosary. To celebrate, check out our special of the month on the home page. It is a great deal!

Our Holy Father just celebrated his 25th anniversary as Pope. He is the longest reigning Pope in history. Let us say some extra rosaries for him.

On October 19th, Pope John Paul II will declare Mother Theresa of Calcutta "Blessed". This is the first step towards Sainthood. Mother Theresa, pray for us!

9/15/03: Sorry I haven't done much lately. I have been incredibly busy. We had guests from out of time. Old and dear friends, Rebekah and Leif, came to visit us and we all had a great time! But I think it will be the last time for quite awhile that they will be visiting us since they just found out that Rebekah will be giving birth in April to their first child! Kristopher and I am so excited for them. May our Lord watch over Rebekah and the baby in the months ahead.

Now the guests are back at home, and I have to get back to work. I have added more chaplets (Chaplets 4 page) and on the "Other Catholic Items" page I have added hand beaded bottles which are perfect for holding Holy Water or Holy Oil. So far I only have two up, but more are coming. If you would like a custom made one just
e-mail me and I will do my best to accomodate you, at no extra charge. These are beautiful bottles that would make really nice gifts.

9/04/03: I have added a few new things to the site. New chaplets, ones to St. Dymphna, St. Jude, St. Patrick, and a Little Crown of the Blessed Virgin. On the Other Catholic Items Page, I have added brochures you can purchase that teach you chaplets you can pray on your regular rosary beads. Great devotions. And they are only $ 0.50!

I have also added a page of Sacrifice Beads. These were a favorite devotion of St. Therese the Little Flower. Read about them on their page.

I am working on a book on Catholic Crafts. For those of you that would be interested, watch for it! Trust me, it will be worth the wait.

Thanks for checking in and I hope everyone had a good summer and is ready for back to school!

9/02/03: In honor of the children (and some of us adults, my husband being one of them!)going back to school, all of the Irish Penal Rosaries are 20% off for September. MAKE SURE YOU E-MAIL ME BEFORE ORDERING TO MAKE SURE YOU GET THE SALE PRICE.

8/29/03: I have moved the non-Christian jewelry to it's own site. Here is a linkBeadwork by Heather Hall. Check it out! There are lots of nice things.

8/27/03: Well, you may have noticed we have a completely new look. And a new address. I just couldn't figure out that picture thing on FortuneCity. Oh, well. This site is beautiful! It is a bit more limiting, but we will learn to work around it.

As for what is new. I have completely redone the Other Jewelry. Walking rosaries are on sale for the entire month of August. 20% off. Make sure you e-mail me BEFORE you order to get the right price. And I added sacrifice beads. They are pretty cool. Check them out.

Enjoy your last bit of summer!

8/25/03: I have added new stuff. Information on the Irish Penal Rosaries. There are Chaplets now. The Pro-life page has some great links and an amazing picture about halfway down the page. I warn you. It is a bit graphic. But it is a GOOD picture, for once! And I had lost my rosary pliers for the longest time, so you may have noticed that almost everything on the site was strung beads. Well, I found them last night and got right to work, so there are some chain work pieces, for those of you that prefer that style, and there will be more coming! Feel free to drop me a note if there is anything you would like to see, for sale or otherwise. Thanks for dropping by!

8/22/03: Welcome to my site. My purpose here is to help increase devotion to the Lord by the Rosary as Our Lady has asked. This is a Roman Catholic website. I fully subscribe to the Church and his Holiness, Pope John Paul II. This is my own little business to help my husband while he goes to school for criminal justice. It allows me have enough money to continue making rosaries for the missions. I have been a member of Our Lady's Rosary Makers for 2 years now.

A little bit about myself. I live in Wisconsin, just south of Green Bay. I am a housewife, except for this business, which is a division of my husband's side business: Kris Hall Publications. I am 30 years old. We don't have any children, unfortunately. We have a dog named Natty Jane who is my sweetheart, and 4 cats, 2 finches, a sparrow we rescued (his nest and everything was destroyed),and a gerbil. I love animals. I studied theology and art in college. I love doing beadwork. I am quite good at beadweaving. I plan on having patterns and items for sale here on the site.
Next time I update the site, I will leave a little "diary" note here so you know things are different, and I will point you in the right direction. That way you don't waste your time or not bother stopping in because you think nothing is changed! As for the site right now, lots of nice rosaries and walking rosaries. Lots of jewelry, especially Catholic. Some fun links. And I'm busy working on more, so check back often!
